About me
I work at the intersection of complex systems, behaviour change, and sensemaking – my PhD having been about bridging behaviour change and complexity sciences. I have led an applied life from the military to marketing and startups, more recently in e.g. the Finnish Behavioural Policy Team at the Prime Minister's Office. I'm a trainer in the Finnish 72hours.fi preparedness concept.
My current affiliations are with the New England Complex Systems Institute (NECSI), Heidelberg University (Medical Faculty Mannheim), Tampere University (Unit of Social Research: Social Psychology), and the World Health Network. I'm also involved in hands-on local community resilience work in Finland, the Eastern flank of Europe.
